This lemon law action was filed by Plaintiffs Nancy Jaime and Carlos Aguilera Lopez against Defendants General Motors LLC and Does 1 through 10 on April 19, 2023. The Final Status Conference is scheduled for April 3, 2025. Trial is scheduled to begin on April 17, 2025. 

Plaintiffs move ex parte to continue trial and all related dates because "the parties are currently attempting to settle this matter and need additional time to finalize the settlement terms." (Ex Parte 2:7-8.) Plaintiffs argues that there is good cause to continue trial and all related dates for at least 120 days. 

Plaintiffs' Ex Parte Application to Continue Trial is GRANTED pursuant to CRC Rule 3.1332(c)(7)- a significant unanticipated change in the status of the case as a result of which the case is not ready for trial. A continuance of at least 120 days is reasonable, depending on the Court and parties' availabilities. Discovery and all related dates will track the new trial date. Moving Party to give notice.
