This breach of contract action was filed on July 24, 2023. The FSC is scheduled for August 5, 2025 in Dept. C. Trial is scheduled to begin on August 19, 2025 in Dept. C. 

Plaintiff now moves ex parte for a continuance on the trial date and all related deadlines for a period of at least six months "on the grounds that Plaintiff is unable to adequately prepare for trial due to Defendants' failure to appear at their duly noticed deposition." (Notice 1:24-2:1.) 

A Notice of Reassignment was filed in this case on May 13, 2025, which states that effective June 2, 2025, this action will be reassigned to Judge Lee W. Tsao as an individual, direct calendaring judge for all purposes, including trial, in Dept. C.

Plaintiff's Ex Parte Application for a trial continuance is DENIED without prejudice to Plaintiff from re-filing and re-noticing this ex parte application in Dept. C. on or after June 2, 2025. The Court notes that, as of this date, there are no upcoming hearings for motions to compel discovery and/or dispositive motions. Moving Party to give notice.
