This is an unlawful detainer action. Plaintiff Abner Hinojos moves ex parte for an order shortening time to hear and overrule the defendant’s demurrer to Plaintiff’s complaint.

Plaintiff asserts that unlawful detainer actions are summary proceedings, but that the demurrer is set for December 13, 2024. (Decl. Heckmann, ¶ 3.) Plaintiff also makes arguments to overrule the demurrer. (Decl. Heckmann, ¶ 4.)

The hearing on Defendant’s demurrer is ADVANCED from December 13, 2024, to this date and CONTINUED to Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. in Dept. SE-C.
