This is a dispute over the purchase and sale of a residence. Defendants Smooth Sailing Consulting, LLC; Darius Rutledge; and Jennifer Jane Sanchez move ex parte to shorten the time to hear the motion to quash summons, currently scheduled for hearing on March 11, 2025.

Defendants argue that default was entered in February 2024 and Plaintiff has applied for a default prove up hearing scheduled to be heard on July 31, 2024.

Based on the above, the Court grants the motion. It advances the motion from Tuesday, March 11, 2025 to today’s date and CONTINUES it to Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 9:30 A.M. in Dept. SE-C.  Opposition and Reply briefs to be filed in compliance with the new hearing date.
