Louie Gateway Medical Center v. Sanjeev Jain, M.D., Case Nos. 25NWCP00218 and 25NWCP00220

Judgment Creditor Louie Gateway Medical Center applies ex parte for orders transferring venue in both matters to Alameda County or, alternatively, for orders shortening time to bring motions to transfer venue to Alameda County.  Judgment Creditor argues that the ex parte application is necessary so that it can record abstracts and enforce the judgment in the county where the debtor actually resides.  Judgment Creditor states that it is in a “time sensitive race with another potential creditor, making transfer necessary to protect creditor’s rights and avoid prejudice.  The ex parte application is GRANTED in part.  The hearing on the Motions to Transfer Venue is specially set for June 23, 2025 at 9:30  a.m. in Dept. SE-C.  Opposition papers to be filed and serve no later than June 18, 2025.  Reply papers to be filed and served not later than June 20, 2025.  Moving party to give notice.
