as Counsel by Counsel for Aaron Schock
BACKGROUND
On April 27, 2017, Plaintiff Carrier Johnson provided
Defendants Aaron Schock and Hyatt House Coachella a proposal for architectural
services and related materials and services for a hotel project commonly known
as Hyatt House Coachella. Defendant Schock executed the proposal, and Plaintiff
provided such services from May 2017 to December 2017. Additional work was also
requested beyond the terms of the agreement. Plaintiff performed but Defendants
failed to pay Plaintiff for the services and materials, with Plaintiff
sustaining damages in the amount of $78,554.89.
Defendant Aaron Schock filed a cross-complaint against
Stuart Rubin and Glenroy Coachella, LC for indemnity and contribution, alleging
that Cross-Defendants agreed to pay Schock for his services, but they failed to
pay.
