(Mots., Bazerkanian Decls. ¶ 3.) Responses were due on or before January 6, 2025, and defense counsel also communicated with Plaintiff’s counsel to extend the response date to February 5, 2025. In each notice of motion, Plaintiff states that she moves the Court to “award sanction [sic] for reasonable costs incurred.” Code of Civil Procedure section 2023.040 states that “[a] request for a sanction shall, in the notice of motion, identify every person, party, and attorney against whom the sanction is sought, and specify the type of sanction sought.” Plaintiff’s Requests for Monetary Sanctions are DENIED for failure to identify every person, party, and attorney against whom the sanction is sought, and specify the type of sanction sought, in each notice of motion.
