)epartment 28 of the Personal Injury Court has determined that the above entitled action is complicated based upon the number of pretrial hearings and/or the complexity of the issues presented.
AT THE DIRECTION OF DEPARTMENT 1, STANLEY MOSK COURTHOUSE: This case was transferred to THE SOUTHEAST DISTRICT, JUDGE OLIVIA ROSALES presiding in Department F of the Norwalk Courthouse for REASSIGNMENT purposes only.
All future proceedings, except trial, will be before a judge selected by Department F.
The parties appearing in the case or Plaintiff will receive a Notice of Reassignment to an Independent Calendar Court from Department F. Department 1, Stanley Mosk Courthouse delegates to the Independent Calendar Court the authority to assign the case for trial to itself, if it so chooses.
Any pending motions or hearings, including trial and status conferences, will be reset, continued or vacated at the direction of the newly assigned Independent Calendar court.
The motion scheduled on 8/30/2023 will not be heard in Dept. 28, Spring Street Courthouse; nor will any future hearings, regardless of their remaining on Dept. 28's docket. Parties are not to appear for this or any future hearings in this case in Dept. 28.
