Having considered the petitioning papers, the Court rules as follows.
BACKGROUND
On April 27, 2022, Plaintiffs Ana R. Rodriguez, Cesar U. Hernandez, and Hazel Rodriguez (“Hazel Rodriguez”), a minor, by and thru her guardian ad litem, Ana R. Rodriguez, filed this action against Defendants Eva Marie Sandoval (“Defendant”) and Does 1-20 for motor vehicle tort and general negligence.
On April 29, 2022, the Court appointed Ana R. Rodriguez to serve as Plaintiff Hazel Rodriguez’s guardian ad litem.
On June 29, 2022, Defendant filed an answer.
On October 17, 2024, Petitioner Ana R. Rodriguez (“Petitioner”) filed a petition for expedited approval of the compromise of Plaintiff Hazel Rodriguez’s claims.
Trial is currently scheduled for April 16, 2025.
PETITIONER’S REQUEST
Petitioner
asks the Court to grant the petition for expedited approval of the compromise
of minor Plaintiff Hazel Rodriguez’s claims.
Petitioner has submitted a complete petition with all required information. The Court grants the petition. The Court orders that the net settlement proceeds of $1,811.00 be paid or delivered to Petitioner at 326 N. Virmargo Street, Visalia, California, 93292, on the terms and under the conditions specified in Probate Code sections 3401-3402, without bond.
CONCLUSION
The Court GRANTS the petition for expedited approval of the compromise of minor Plaintiff Hazel Rodriguez’s claims filed by Petitioner Ana R. Rodriguez on October 17, 2024. The net settlement proceeds of $1,811.00 are be paid or delivered to Petitioner Ana R. Rodriguez at 326 N. Virmargo Street, Visalia, California, 93292, on the terms and under the conditions specified in Probate Code sections 3401-3402, without bond.
The Court sets an OSC Re: Distribution of Net Settlement on March 3, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., in Department 28 of the Spring Street Courthouse.

Petitioner is ordered to give notice of this ruling.
