Having considered the petitioning papers, the Court rules as follows.
BACKGROUND
On August 8, 2022, Plaintiffs Margarita Flores and Jazmine Moran-Flores, a minor through her guardian ad litem Margarita Flores, filed this action against Defendants Robert Patrick Cuilty (“Defendant”) and Does 1-25 for motor vehicle tort.
On August 15, 2022, the Court appointed Margarita Flores to serve as Plaintiff Jazmine Moran-Flores’s guardian ad litem.
On February 9, 2023, Defendant filed an answer. On February 14, 2023, Defendant filed a cross-complaint against Cross-Defendants Sonia Araceley Osorio and Roes 1-50 for indemnification, apportionment of fault, and declaratory relief. On May 24, 2024, the Court dismissed the cross-complaint without prejudice at Defendant’s request.
On May 22, 2024, Plaintiffs filed a notice of settlement.
On December 16, 2024, Petitioner Margarita Flores (“Petitioner”) filed a petition to approve the compromise of minor Plaintiff Jazmine Moran-Flores’s claims. The petition was set for hearing on January 28, 2025. The Court continued the hearing to March 3, 2025.
PETITIONER’S REQUESTS
Petitioner
asks the Court to grant the petition to approve the compromise of minor Plaintiff
Jazmine Moran-Flores’s claims.
Petitioner has submitted a complete petition with all required information. On September 24, 2024, the Court found that the attorney’s fees request was reasonable.
The Court grants the petition and orders that the net settlement amount of $5,345.90 be deposited in insured accounts in Wells Fargo Bank, 2544 Glendale Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90039, (323) 499-4345, subject to withdrawal only on authorization of the Court.
CONCLUSION
The Court GRANTS Petitioner Margarita Flores’s petition for approval of the compromise of minor Plaintiff Jazmine Moran-Flores’s claims filed on December 16, 2024. The Court orders that the net settlement amount of $5,345.90 is to be deposited in insured accounts in Wells Fargo Bank, 2544 Glendale Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90039, (323) 499-4345, subject to withdrawal only on authorization of the Court.
The Court sets an OSC Re: Distribution of Net Settlement on May 5, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., in Department 28 of the Spring Street Courthouse.

Petitioner is ordered to give notice of this ruling.
