Having considered the petitioning papers, the Court rules as follows.
BACKGROUND
On April 3, 2023, Plaintiffs Teresa Gonzalez and Antonio Luna, by and through his guardian ad litem, Teresa Gonzalez, filed this action against Defendants City of Los Angeles (“City”), Joseph Alcides Rodriguez (“Rodriguez”), and Does 1-20 for motor vehicle tort and general negligence.
On April 6, 2023, the Court appointed Teresa Gonzalez to serve as Plaintiff Antonio Luna’s guardian ad litem.
On August 2, 2023, the City and Rodriguez filed answers.
On December 11, 2024, Plaintiffs filed a notice of settlement.
On January 23, 2025, Petitioner Teresa Gonzalez (“Petitioner”) filed a petition for expedited approval of the compromise of minor Plaintiff Antonio Luna’s claims.
PETITIONER’S REQUEST
Petitioner asks the Court for expedited approval of the compromise of the action of minor Plaintiff Antonio Luna (“Plaintiff”).
DISCUSSION
Petitioner has submitted a complete petition with all required information. The Court grants the petition. The net settlement amount of $1,284.05 is to be paid or delivered to Teresa Gonzalez, Plaintiff Antonio Luna’s mother, at 3018 Eagle Street, Los Angeles, CA 90063, on the terms and under the conditions specified in Probate Code sections 3401-3402, without bond.
CONCLUSION
The Court GRANTS the petition for expedited approval of the compromise of minor Plaintiff Antonio Luna’s action filed by Petitioner Teresa Gonzalez on January 23, 2025. The net settlement amount of $1,284.05 is to be paid or delivered to Teresa Gonzalez, Plaintiff Antonio Luna’s mother, at 3018 Eagle Street, Los Angeles, CA 90063, on the terms and under the conditions specified in Probate Code sections 3401-3402, without bond.
The Court sets an OSC Re: Distribution of Net Settlement on July 21, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., in Department 28 of the Spring Street Courthouse.

Petitioner is ordered to give notice of this ruling.
