Judge: Lisa R. Jaskol, Case: 23STCV19105, Date: 2025-06-12 Tentative Ruling

Case Number: 23STCV19105    Hearing Date: June 12, 2025    Dept: 28

On March 17, 2025, Plaintiff Raul Garcia Peregrino filed (1) a motion to compel responses to request for production of documents, set one, (2) a motion to compel responses to special interrogatories, set one, and (3) a motion to compel responses to form interrogatories.  The motions were set for hearing on June 12, 2025.

Each of the three motions asks the Court to rule on three different requests – namely, to compel responses from Defendants Aaron Giron, Christopher Bowman, and Salvador Garcia.  Plaintiff asserts that he combined the requests to compel responses from the three defendants into each of the three motions in the interests of “judicial economy.”

However, instead of giving each request its own place on the calendar and time for Court consideration, Plaintiff has asked the Court to provide tentative rulings on nine substantive matters within the time provided for three matters.

The Court takes the motions off calendar.  Plaintiff may file separate motions that address each request addressed to each Defendant separately.
