TENTATIVE RULING Plaintiff Bruntina Marcelus's unopposed motion for preliminary approval of class action and PAGA settlement is GRANTED as set forth below.

An answer was never filed to the operative first amended complaint. Defendant Standard Healthcare LLC shall file an answer within 5 days.

The motion and proposed order both indicate that the parties will utilize Phoenix Settlement Administrators. However, the settlement agreement and proposed class notice both indicate that the parties will utilize CPT Group. The parties shall submit a revised proposed order, either (1) modifying paragraph 7 to identify CPT Group as the administrator, or (2) modifying paragraph 8 and attaching a copy of a revised class notice that identifies Phoenix as the administrator. Paragraph 11 of the proposed order shall also be modified to replace 'Courtroom 16' with 'Department 64.' The court will sign the proposed order provided it is revised as set forth above.

The Court sets a final approval hearing for February 2, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.

The motion for class certification set for September 8, 2023 is vacated.
