Motion to Compel Responses to Request for Production (Set Two)

Ruling:  The Court GRANTS the Motion to Compel Responses to Request for Production, (Set Two). Plaintiff Efran Kohzadi is ORDERED to serve responses, without objection, within 20 days of notice of this order. The Court DENIES the request for sanctions. Moving party is ordered to give notice.

Discussion: On June 13, 2023, Defendant served Requests for Production, Set Two on Plaintiff. (Hoy Decl., ¶ 3 & Exhibit 1.) Plaintiff never served responses. (Id. ¶ 4,5, Exhibit 2.) On July 21, 2023, Defendant filed this motion to compel Plaintiff to provide initial responses to the discovery request. Because Plaintiff has failed to respond to the request for production, Defendant is entitled to an order compelling Plaintiff to respond to the requests without objections.  CCP sections 2031.300(a). Court declines to award sanctions because the motion is unopposed.
