Ruling:  The Request for Entry of Default Judgment is granted.  Moving party to give notice.

Discussion

The Court finds that Plaintiff has remedied the defects identified in the Court’s August 10, 2023 minute order. Plaintiff’s August 15, 2023 filings have excluded the demand for attorneys’ fees. Moreover, Plaintiff has remedied the discrepancy in the calculation of costs. Plaintiff has also remedied the calculation of total damages sought between his CIV-100 form, summary of the case, and JUD-100 form. Plaintiff has also provided evidence of medical bills to support his demand for special damages. (Weidenmuler Decl., ¶ 18; Saso Decl., ¶¶ 36-38 and Exhibits H and Exhibit I.) Plaintiff’s default judgment application is compliant with California Rules of Court, Rule 3.1800.
