Non-appearance case review of Expedited Petition to Confirm Compromise

Ruling:  The Court has reviewed the Petitioner’s Expedited Petition to Approve Minor’s Compromise without a hearing pursuant to Cal Rules of Court 7.950.5. The court finds that the settlement is reasonable and that all previous deficiencies have been remedied, and based thereon, approves and GRANTS the petition.

Petitioner is ordered to provide a proposed updated order on the appropriate forms for distribution of the proceeds to the parent of the minor to be held in trust for the minor until the minor reaches majority. Prob Code §3401(a).

Judicial Assistant to calendar all future dates accordingly. Moving party is ordered to give notice.
