Defendant Deshaun Kim Patrick (Defendant) seeks relief from the default judgment entered against him on February 24, 2022, on the grounds that the judgment against him violates the California Constitution’s guarantees of due process and the right to be secure in one’s person, house, papers, and effects. (Motion at pp. 1–2.) The motion is unopposed, but there is no indication that it was served.

The motion is unsupported save by Defendant’s invocation of the above legal principles and his denial of the allegations in the Complaint. Defendant articulates no basis for granting him relief from the default judgment entered against him more than three years ago, and which he knew of a mere month after its entry, as demonstrated by his filing of an ex parte application seeking relief from that judgment on April 5, 2022. The court denied that motion, and the present motion provides no basis for a different result.

The motion is DENIED.
