Tentative Ruling

The motion is granted, as prayed.

Judges can order that real property be partitioned by sale by a referee.  E.g., CCP §§ 872.230,  873.710.  “Code of Civil Procedure section 874.04010 provides that ‘the court shall apportion the costs of partition among the parties in proportion to their interests or make such other apportionment as may be equitable.’”  Orien v. Lutz (2017) 16 Cal. App. 5th 957, 966.
