Judge: Mark C. Kim, Case: 21LBCV00581, Date: 2022-11-15 Tentative Ruling
Case Number: 21LBCV00581 Hearing Date: November 15, 2022 Dept: S27
Plaintiff’s attorney, Kevin Mahoney, seeks to be relieved as counsel,
contending there has been an irrevocable breakdown in the attorney-client
relationship. Counsel has confirmed
Client’s address via conversation, and has filed proof of service on Client and
all parties who have appeared in the action.
The motion is unopposed and granted.
The Court notes that trial is not scheduled until 3/13/23, and therefore
there will be no prejudice to Plaintiff as a result of the granting of the
motion. Relief is effective upon filing
proof of service of the final order on Plaintiff.
Counsel is ordered to give notice.
Parties who intend to submit
on this tentative must send an email to the court at gdcdepts27@lacourt.org indicating intention to submit on the tentative as
directed by the instructions provided on the court website at www.lacourt.org. If the department
does not receive an email indicating the parties are submitting on the
tentative and there are no appearances at the hearing, the motion may be placed
off calendar. If a party submits on
the tentative, the party’s email must include the case number and must identify
the party submitting on the tentative. If
the parties do not submit on the tentative, they should arrange to appear remotely.
