TENTATIVE RULING:

Petitioner TSMA Consulting, Inc.’s Petition to Confirm Arbitration Award is CONTINUED TO MAY 2, 2023 AT 8:30 AM IN DEPARTMENT 26 IN THE SPRING STREET COURTHOUSE.

ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE REGARDING PETITIONER TSMA CONSULTING, INC.’S LEGAL REPRESENTATION REMAINS SET FOR JULY 18, 2023 AT 9:30 AM IN DEPARTMENT 26 IN THE SPRING STREET COURTHOUSE.

ANALYSIS:

Petitioner TSMA Consulting, Inc. (“Petitioner”) filed the instant Petition to Confirm Arbitration Award against Respondent Fan Shark, Inc. (“Respondent”) on July 11, 2022. The Petition initially came for hearing on December 13, 2022 at which time the Court noted that Petitioner lacked proper legal representation. (Minute Order, 12/13/22.) The hearing was continued to March 14, 2023 and an Order to Show Cause regarding Petition’s legal representation was set for March 1, 2023. (Ibid.)

On March 1, 2023, the Order to Show Cause was again continued to April 18, 2023 with admonition to Petitioner that the action would be dismissed if legal counsel was not retained by the new hearing date. (Minute Order, 03/01/23.)

Accordingly, the hearing on the instant Petition is continued to a date after the Order to Show Cause.

Conclusion

Petitioner TSMA Consulting, Inc.’s Petition to Confirm Arbitration Award is CONTINUED TO JULY 18, 2023 AT 8:30 AM IN DEPARTMENT 26 IN THE SPRING STREET COURTHOUSE.
