TENTATIVE RULING:

Petitioner Valerie F. Horn, Trustee of the Valerie F. Horn Trust’s Petition for Appointment of Receiver is PLACED OFF CALENDAR. THIS CASE IS TRANSFERRED TO DEPARTMENT 86 IN THE STANLEY MOSK COURTHOUSE FOR ALL PURPOSES.

ANALYSIS:

On September 12, 2022, Petitioner Valerie F. Horn, Trustee of the Valerie F. Horn Trust, filed the instant Petition for Appointment of Receiver against Respondent 1645 Camden Court Condominiums Homeowners Association (“Respondent”). Upon filing the Petition, the matter was assigned to Department 26 in the Spring Street Courthouse, and set for hearing on January 17, 2023, by the clerk’s office. (Notice of Assignment and Notice of Hearing, 09/12/22.)

Petitioner’s ex parte application for appointment of receiver, filed on September 14, 2022, was set for hearing in Department 86 of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. The ex parte application was granted on the same date and Stephen Donell was appointed receiver. (Minute Order, 09/14/22.) Following the Order to Show Cause re Confirmation of Receiver on October 26, 2022, also heard in Department 86, the Court set a status conference for March 29, 2023 in the same department. (Minute Order, 10/26/22.)

Accordingly, the Petition for Appointment of Receiver is PLACED OFF CALENDAR AND THIS CASE IS TRANSFERRED TO DEPARTMENT 86 IN THE STANLEY MOSK COURTHOUSE FOR ALL PURPOSES.
