Case Number: 21SMCV00272    Hearing Date: January 17, 2024    Dept: I

The ex parte application to continue the FSC and trial dates is GRANTED.  Defense counsel has demonstrated good cause for a brief continuance, and the court appreciates plaintiff’s counsel’s willingness to agree.  The court will discuss with the parties what a good new trial date might be.

This will not continue or extend any discovery cut offs or other cut offs, including for summary judgment motions.  The court notes that the in limine motion deadline has come and gone and therefore the court does not anticipate any additional in limine motions beyond those already filed.

The court will discuss the parties’ current good faith estimate of the trial length.  A date and time for the FSC and trial will be set today.
