In its order striking Ramirez’s 170.1 challenge, the court stated that it would hold the case in abeyance until the time to seek writ review had expired or, if writ review was timely sought, until the writ petition was adjudicated.  That time has not yet come.  The court will reschedule the hearings, but no further briefing will be allowed.

The court also notes that the motions for reconsideration have disappeared from the calendar.  In the court’s order striking the 170.1 motion, the court took the hearing for that motion off calendar, but expressly stated that it was not taking the motions for reconsideration off calendar.  If they were removed, they were removed in error and will be restored to the calendar.
