The court stated that it would stay proceedings pending resolution of Ramirez’s 170.1 challenge and his right to seek writ review.  That date has not yet come.  There will be no hearing today.  The court on its own motion will set a status conference for 9:00 am on June 8, 2023approximately 3 weeks out, the purpose of which will be to: (1) obtain a definitive list of all motions filed by any party that remain pending; (2) determine the briefing status of each such motion; and (3) set a hearing date for all motions that have been filed.  If the court’s self-imposed stay is still in effect because the status of the 170.1 challenge remains unsettled, then the date will be moved.
