The motion to be relieved is GRANTED effective upon the filing of a proof of service showing service on the client.  However, counsel should make sure that the client understands that it cannot go forward without counsel and that there is a trial coming up.  It is likely that World Mechanical will simply be unable to proceed unless new counsel is retained.  And there could well be prejudice if counsel is not retained quickly because there is no assurance that dates will be moved.
