The court is unsure if the motion was served.  But even assuming good service, the motion is DENIED.

This is a motion to sever.  Having read the papers, the court sees no justification in severing the actions.  It might be appropriate to do so if the damages were several and not joint, but that does not appear to be the case.  While it is true that any defaulted defendant will not be able to participate in the trial, that is no reason to sever the actions.  Plaintiff to give notice.
