The court will discuss the matter with counsel and the parties (if they appear).  The conflict might or might not justify the relief sought and the court will want to discuss the “hot potato” rule.  The court also notes that plaintiffs do not seem to oppose fundamentally counsel’s withdrawal, but they have asked that certain corrective filings be made first and that the withdrawal be delayed until shortly before the next hearing.  (The court notes that the next hearing is a status conference, not a trial or evidentiary hearing.)
