Motion to Appear Pro Hac Vice

Before the Court is the Application by Jeffrey C. Corey (“Corey”) for pro hac vice admission to represent defendants New U Life Corporation (“NUL”), Alexy Goldstein, Katherine Garfield, Joe Juliano, and Christopher Cavedon in this action.  The Application is not opposed.

The Application meets the requirements for pro hac vice admission with one exception: the applicant failed to file proof of notice and payment to the California Bar, as required by Rule 9.40(c)(1) and (e) of the California Rules of Court.

The hearing on the Application is continued to August 28, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. for counsel to give notice and make payment to the California State Bar – and to file proof of same with the Court no later than August 22, 2023.  CRC 9.40(c)(1), (e).
