CASE TITLE: CASE TYPE:

Civil - Unlimited  Breach of Contract/Warranty Discovery Hearing 37-2022-00045884-CU-BC-CTL TAQUERIA EL POBLANO LLC VS MARISCOS AND STREET TACOS INC [IMAGED] CAUSAL DOCUMENT/DATE FILED:

Plaintiffs Taqueria El Poblano, LLC and Pedro Rodriguez's eight motions to compel are off calendar.

However, the court will hear from the parties regarding the status of the case and Defendants' recent substitution of new counsel.

With respect to the motions to compel, Plaintiffs are admonished to make separate hearing reservations for each of their motions in the future. Plaintiffs' attempt to lump eight motions to compel under a single hearing reservation created unnecessary confusion and made it more difficult for the court to oversee and organize its calendar.

The court notes that Plaintiffs are not precluded from rescheduling these motions, as they are founded on Defendants' failure to respond to discovery, and there is no deadline to move to compel on that basis.

Nonetheless, the court expects the parties to meet and confer and is hopeful that a resolution may be reached without need for additional filings.
