When timely responses to
interrogatories are not received, “[t]he party propounding the interrogatories
may move for an order compelling response to the interrogatories.” (CCP § 2030.290(b).)
Plaintiff moves to compel responses to
special interrogatories, set one, from Defendant Metro Investments Group, Inc.
Plaintiff served the subject discovery on February 23, 2023. After agreeing to
an extension, responses were due on April 6, 2023. As of the filing of the
motions, Plaintiff has not received responses. Defendant does not oppose this
motion to show responses have been served. Plaintiff’s motion is GRANTED.
Plaintiff’s request for sanctions is
GRANTED in the amount of $385.00.
