Attorneys David G. Hagopian, Jeffrey L. Sikkema, and CDF Labor Law LLP move to be relieved as counsel for plaintiff Global Premier Regency Palms Oxnard, LP. California Rule of Court 3.1362 governs motions to be relieved as counsel. The court has reviewed the materials submitted by the moving parties, Attorneys David G. Hagopian, Jeffrey L. Sikkema, and CDF Labor Law LLP, and finds that counsel has complied with the requirements of Rule 3.1362. The motion to be relieved as counsel is granted. The court’s order shall become effective upon the filing of a Proof of Service showing service of the order on plaintiff Global Premier Regency Palms Oxnard, LP.
Plaintiff Global Premier Regency Palms Oxnard, LP is a limited partnership. This entity cannot represent itself. Gamet v. Blanchard (2001) 91 Cal.App.4th 1276, 1284 n.5. Plaintiff Global Premier Regency Palms Oxnard, LP must obtain representation or risk forfeiting important rights through nonrepresentation. Id. Plaintiff Global Premier Regency Palms Oxnard, LP is ordered to obtain counsel and file evidence thereof with the court by December 1, 2022.
The moving parties, Attorneys David G. Hagopian, Jeffrey L. Sikkema, and CDF Labor Law LLP, shall give notice of the court’s order.
