Defendants Paulina Alvarado, Patricia Zemke, and Joanna Vega’s Motions to Compel Responses to Special Interrogatories
Defendants Paulina Alvarado, Patricia Zemke, and Joanna Vega move to compel plaintiffs Jose Hernandez and Guadalupe Hernandez to provide responses to defendants’ Special Interrogatories (Set One) to each plaintiff. Neither plaintiff has served responses to the Special Interrogatories (Set One). For the following reasons, defendants’ unopposed motions are granted.
Due to plaintiffs’ failure to serve timely responses to the interrogatories, plaintiffs have “waive[d] any right to exercise the option to produce writings under Section 2030.230, as well as any objection to the interrogatories, including one based on privilege or on the protection for work product . . . .” Cal. Civ. Proc. Code § 2030.290(a). Plaintiffs Jose Hernandez and Guadalupe Hernandez shall provide responses, without objections, to defendants’ Special Interrogatories (Set One) by October 31, 2022.
Defendants’ requests for sanctions are granted. Plaintiffs Jose Hernandez and Guadalupe Hernandez shall each pay sanctions in the amount of $460.00 to defendants by October 31, 2022. See, e.g., Cal. Civ. Proc. Code § 2023.010(d); id. § 2030.290(c).

Neither plaintiff has served responses to the Form Interrogatories (Set One). For the following reasons, defendants’ unopposed motions are granted.

Neither plaintiff has served responses to defendants’ Requests for Production (Set One). For the following reasons, defendants’ unopposed motions are granted.
Due to plaintiffs’ failure to serve timely responses to the requests, plaintiffs have “waive[d] any objection to the demand, including one based on privilege or on the protection for work product . . . .” Cal. Civ. Proc. Code § 2031.300(a). Plaintiffs Jose Hernandez and Guadalupe Hernandez shall produce documents and provide responses, without objections, to defendants’ Requests for Production (Set One) by October 31, 2022.
