RELIEF REQUESTED: An order permitting service on Defendant Valencia Vinyl Fence, Inc. via service on the California Secretary of State in accordance with CCP 416.10 and Corporations Code 1702.

RULING: The motion is placed off calendar. 

On 11/1/22, Plaintiff Century Recovery LLC (Plaintiff) filed the instant motion seeking an order permitting service on Defendant Valencia Vinyl Fence, Inc. via service on the California Secretary of State in accordance with CCP 416.10 and Corporations Code 1702. 

On 11/17/22, Plaintiff filed a proof of service of summons which indicates that Defendant Valencia Vinyl Fence, Inc. was served via substituted service on 10/31/22.  (See Proof of Service by Substituted Service filed 11/17/22).  Thereafter, on 12/29/22, default was entered against Defendant Valencia Vinyl Fence, Inc.  (See Request for Entry of Default filed 12/29/22; Notice of Entry of Default filed 1/9/22).

Based on the foregoing, the relief requested in the instant motion is moot.
