On 2/6/24, after a court trial, Judgment was entered in favor of Plaintiff GGP Northridge Fashion Center, L.P. (Plaintiff) and against Defendants Alibaba Express Mediterranean Grill, Inc.; Shamdan Restaurant, Inc.; Ali Mirghaffari and Yana Miraghaffari (Defendants).

On 2/20/24, Defendants filed and served a Notice of Intention to Move for New Trial (Motion).  On 2/21/24, the Court set the hearing on the Motion for 4/3/24.  After the execution of several stipulations and orders to extend the time due for Defendants’ filing of a memorandum in support of the Motion, the last extension extended the deadline to 3/22/24.  (See Stipulation and Order filed 3/19/24).

Defendants failed to file a memorandum in support of the motion by 3/22/24 and there is no further stipulation and order to continue the deadline for such filing.  Therefore, the hearing on the Motion is placed off calendar.
