SUMMARY OF ACTION: This action arises out of motor vehicle accident that occurred on 8/12/22. Minor was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Plaintiff Ka Hyun Kim. As a result of the accident, Minor experienced trouble sleeping, nightmares, nervousness, and sensitivity to loud noises when in a vehicle for approximately a month after the accident. Minor was examined by her pediatrician on 8/25/22. Minor received no further treatment and has completely recovered from the injuries.

SETTLEMENT: Defendants Jose Luis Servin, Jr.; Michelle Avila De La Cruz; Jesus Avila and Estela Avila to pay $25,000.00

AMOUNT TO BE PAID TO MINOR: $18,750.00 to be deposited in an insured blocked account

RULING:

Unlike the petition regarding Hazel Kim, the petition regarding Iris Kim does not include a contract regarding the legal representation of Iris Kim. The petition will be granted upon the submission of a copy of the Contract for Legal Representation of Iris Kim.
