CASE TITLE: CASE TYPE:
Civil - Unlimited  Other Real Property Motion Hearing (Civil) 37-2023-00033216-CU-OR-NC OSBORNE PARK, INC VS GUIDRY [IMAGED] CAUSAL DOCUMENT/DATE FILED: Motion to Be Relieved as Counsel of Record, 01/30/2024
An appearance is necessary by both Attorney M. Viviana Oropeza and a representative of her client, Osborne Park Inc. to confirm an address of record for said client.
This matter previously came on-calendar on February 23, 2024. At that time, the Court's tentative ruling was to deny the motion due to a lack of notice. However, both the client and opposing counsel appeared at the prior hearing, making clear that each was now aware of the hearing. At the request of opposing counsel, the Court continued the matter to March 8, 2024 to allow time for opposing counsel to file an opposition to the instant motion. No such opposition has been filed. All parties waived notice at that hearing. As such, the notice issues have been resolved. What remains is the issue of confirming the address of the client before the Court can grant the motion. Without that clerical item, the Court will not grant the motion.
Unless the ruling(s) above indicate that an appearance is necessary, parties who wish to submit, who are satisfied with the above tentative ruling(s), and/or who do not otherwise wish to argue the motion(s) are encouraged to give notice to the Court and each other of their intention not to appear.
