The Court has reviewed the petition submitted by Petitioner Rosa Abarca Astudillo on behalf of Claimant Mia Pano, and continues the hearing on the petition to March 29, 2023 at 1:30 PM in Department 32 to permit Petitioner time to file an amended petition and amended order (if applicable) addressing or resolving the following issues:   

 

·         Petitioner has not included documentation of the medical expenses to be paid or reimbursed from the proceeds, totaling to $55,191.83.  See Section 12(a)(4).

·         Petitioner has not included documentation of the expenses to paid to the Law Offices of Andrew Zetuntsyan, totaling $1,643.28.  See Section 13(b).

·         Petitioner has not included documentation of the fees and expenses paid by Petitioner and to be reimbursed from the settlement amount to Petitioner totaling $4,247,781.56.  See Section 14(b).

·         Petitioner has not included documentation regarding the investment of settlement proceeds into a single-premium deferred annuity.  See Section 18(b)(3). 

 

Petitioner shall file and serve an amened petition and amended order (if applicable) on or before March 22, 2023.  Petitioner shall provide notice of the Court’s orders and file a proof of service regarding the same.
