BACKGROUND:

 

On July 13, 2022, Plaintiffs Martin W. Hernandez and Gerardo Lazaro filed their Complaint against Defendant General Motors LLC on causes of action regarding the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. This is a Lemon Law case.

 

On August 23, 2022, Defendant filed its Answer.

 

On January 12, 2023, Plaintiffs filed their Motion to Compel Further Discovery Responses to Request for Production of Documents Set One and for Monetary Sanctions Pursuant to C.C.P. Section 2031.320(b) Against [Defendant] and [its Counsel] in the Amount of $2,004.15. Plaintiffs concurrently filed their Separate Statement.

 

No opposition or other response has been filed.

 

ANALYSIS:

 

I.           Discussion

 

This Court’s Trial Orders require that Counsel attend an informal discovery conference before any discovery motion will be heard in a Lemon Law case. (See Court’s Trial Orders, § VIII.) No Informal Discovery Conference has been requested or held in this matter.
