PLAINTIFF'S REQUEST FOR ENTRY OF DEFAULT JUDGMENT

I.          BACKGROUND

On April 17, 2023, Plaintiff Wells Fargo Bank, National Association filed its Verified Complaint against Defendants Quickbuys, Inc. and Stacy L. Adams on causes of action for breach of contract, account stated, money lent, and breach of guaranty.

On September 1, 2023, by request of Plaintiff, the Clerk’s Office entered default on Defendants.

On September 21, 2023, Plaintiff filed:

(1)       Judicial Council Form CIV-100, Request for Court Judgment;

(2)       Judicial Council Form JUD-100, Proposed Judgment;

(3)       Statement of the Case;

(4)       Declaration of William Ocampo in support of Request for Entry of Default Judgment;

(5)       Declaration of William Ocampo re Lost Documents;

(6)       Declaration of Yvonne Ramirez-Browning re Attorneys Fees; and

(7)       Proof of Service.

On September 26, 2023, by request of Plaintiff, the Clerk’s Office dismissed the Doe defendants from the Verified Complaint.

II.       ANALYSIS

The Request for Entry of Default Judgment is GRANTED. The Court AWARDS default judgment in favor of Plaintiff and against Defendants, jointly and severally, in the total amount of $68,614.97.
