BACKGROUND:

On April 24, 2023, Plaintiff Reyad Samir Alzir filed a Complaint against Defendant FCA US LLC on causes of action for violations of the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.

On May 25, 2023, Defendant filed its Answer to the Complaint.

On November 29, 2023, Plaintiff filed Motion to Compel Further Responses to Plaintiff’s Request for Production of Documents, Set One. In support of the Motion, Plaintiff concurrently filed: (1) Declaration of Noreelie Panhwar; (2) Separate Statement; and (3) Proposed Order.

No informal discovery conference was held on the Motion.

On February 16, 2024, Plaintiff filed Judicial Council Form CM-200, Notice of Settlement of Entire Case.

ANALYSIS:

I.          Discussion

This Court’s Trial Orders require that Counsel attend an informal discovery conference before any discovery motion will be heard in a Lemon Law case. (See Court’s Trial Orders, § VIII.) That has not occurred regarding this Motion.

II.       Conclusion

The Motion is TAKEN OFF CALENDAR.
