PLAINTIFF'S REQUEST FOR ENTRY OF DEFAULT JUDGMENT

I.          BACKGROUND

On August 14, 2023, Plaintiff Wilmont, Inc. filed its Complaint against Defendant Young H. Kim on a cause of action for breach of contract.

On November 29, 2023, by request of Plaintiff, the Clerk’s Office entered default on Defendant.

On January 18, 2024, Plaintiff filed:

(1)       Judicial Council Form CIV-100, Request for Entry of Default and Court Judgment;

(2)       Judicial Council Form CIV-110, Request for Dismissal;

(3)       Judicial Council Form JUD-100, Proposed Judgment;

(4)       Declaration of Woo Joong Kim; and

(5)       Summary of Case.

On January 19, 2024, by request of Plaintiff, the Clerk’s Office dismissed without prejudice the doe defendants from the Complaint.

II.       ANALYSIS

The Request for Default Judgment is GRANTED. Default Judgment is AWARDED in favor of Plaintiff and against Defendant in the total amount of $84,231.31 as indicated in the spreadsheet below:
