PLAINTIFF'S REQUEST FOR ENTRY OF DEFAULT JUDGMENT

I.          BACKGROUND

On August 28, 2023, Plaintiff Almont Chateau LLC filed its Complaint against Defendant Kamel Mecheri on a cause for breach of contract.

On October 12, 2023, by request of Plaintiff, the Clerk’s Office entered default on Defendant.

On February 14, 2023, Plaintiff filed:

(1)       Judicial Council Form CIV-100, Request for Court Judgment;

(2)       Judicial Council Form CIV-110, Request for Dismissal;

(3)       Judicial Council Form JUD-100, Proposed Judgment;

(4)       Judicial Council Form MC-030, Declaration;

(5)       Declaration of Jessica Brand;

(6)       Declaration of Lane M. Nussbaum; and

(7)       Proof of Service.

On February 15, 2024, by request of Plaintiff, the Clerk’s Office dismissed without prejudice the Doe defendants.

II.       ANALYSIS

The Request for Default Judgment is GRANTED. Default Judgment is AWARDED in favor of Plaintiff and against Defendant in the total amount of $42,102.96 as indicated below:
