PLAINTIFF'S REQUEST FOR ENTRY OF DEFAULT JUDGMENT

I.          BACKGROUND

On October 31, 2023, Plaintiff World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. filed its Complaint against Defendant Times 10 Entertainment, LLC on a cause of action for common counts.

On January 16, 2024, by request of Plaintiff, the Clerk’s Office entered default on Defendant.

On February 20, 2024, Plaintiff filed:

(1)       Judicial Council Form CIV-100, Request for Court Judgment;

(2)       Judicial Council Form CIV-110, Request for Dismissal;

(3)       Judicial Council Form JUD-100, Proposed Judgment;

(4)       Declaration of Alexander V. Hettena; and

(5)       Declaration Re: Underlying Action.

On February 21, 2024, by request of Plaintiff, the Clerk’s Office dismissed without prejudice the doe defendants.

II.       ANALYSIS

The Request for Default Judgment is GRANTED.

Default Judgment is AWARDED in favor of Plaintiff and against Defendant in the total amount of $90,624.25 consisting of $81,000.00 in damages; $9,054.25 in pre-judgment interest; and $570.00 in costs.
