PLAINTIFF'S REQUEST FOR ENTRY OF DEFAULT JUDGMENT

I.          BACKGROUND

On November 27, 2023, Plaintiff Velocity Investments LLC filed its Complaint against Defendant Joshua Blair on causes of action for account stated, open book account, and indebtedness.

On April 9, 2024, Plaintiff filed:

(1)       Judicial Council Form CIV-105, Request for Entry of Default and Judgment;

(2)       Judicial Council Form CIV-110, Request for Dismissal;

(3)       Judicial Council Form JUD-100, Proposed Judgment;

(4)       Declaration;

(5)       Summary of Case; and

(6)       Waiver of Attorney Fees.

On April 9, 2024, by request of Plaintiff, the Clerk’s Office entered default on Defendant.

On April 15, 2024, by request of Plaintiff, the Clerk’s Office dismissed without prejudice the doe defendants from the Complaint.

II.       ANALYSIS

The Request for Default Judgment is GRANTED.

Default Judgment is AWARDED in favor of Plaintiff and against Defendant in the total amount of $28,417.76 as indicated below:
