[TENTATIVE] ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO BE RELIEVED AS COUNSEL FOR DEFENDANT, MY WORLD ENTERPRISES, INC. (“MWEI”).

The First Amended Complaint alleges claims for sexual harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, and intentional infliction of emotional distress against Plaintiff’s employers. Defendant MWEI filed a cross-complaint for indemnity against Cross-defendant, Cingular, whose default was entered on July 19, 2023.

Counsel for Defendant and Cross-Complainant MWEI can no longer effectively represent the corporation because the shareholders dispute who controls it. Counsel served the corporation’s agent for service of process as well as the corporation’s CEO at addresses confirmed within the past 30 days.

Accordingly, the motion is GRANTED. The order is effective upon the filing of the proof of service of the signed order upon the client.
