[TENTATIVE] ORDER CONTINUING THE HEARING FOR PETITION FOR CHANGE OF NAME

 Petitioner, KIM SHERI WRIGHT, filed this Petition on May 17, 2022, for an Order for Change of Name to KIM SHERI BAILEY to resume her birth name.  Petitioner is over the age of 18. The court has considered the Criminal History Assessment filed on May 17, 2022, which reflects that Petitioner remains on active probation which doesn’t expire December 4, 2022.
 Additionally, the court’s file does not reflect that Petitioner has complied with the requirements for publication of the Order to Show Cause. Code Civ. Proc., § 1277. Accordingly, the court continues the hearing to (after probation expires) December 15, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. in Department A of the Compton Courthouse. Petitioner shall comply with requirements for publication prior to the next hearing date.
