CONTINUING
HEARING ON PETITION FOR CHANGE OF NAME
The court has
considered the Petition filed on May 20,
2022 by Nathalie Gonzalez to change name to Nathalie
Briseño in order to assume her mother’s last name. The Criminal
History Assessment could not be completed because Plaintiff did not provide a
driver’s license number. Additionally, the court’s docket does not reflect that
Plaintiff complied with the requirements for publication of the Order to Show
Cause. Code Civ. Proc., § 1277.
Therefore, the court continues the
hearing to ____________________ at 8:30 a.m. in Department A of the Compton
courthouse. Petitioner shall re-submit a completed Name Change Criminal History
Assessment form including driver’s license number. Petitioner shall also
publish the order to show cause as required by statute.
