[TENTATIVE] ORDER CONTINUING THE HEARING FOR PETITION FOR CHANGE OF NAME

Petitioner, DaNesha Tiameka Wilerson, a minor, by and through her parents, filed this Petition on June 1, 2022, for an Order for Change of Name to J’ Arii Le’ Azia Barnes to correct an error made on Petitioner’s documentation.  The Petition is signed by both parents. The court’s file does not reflect that Petitioner has complied with the requirements for publication of the Order to Show Cause. Code Civ. Proc., § 1277. Accordingly, the court continues the hearing to November 2, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. in Department A of the Compton Courthouse.  Petitioner is ordered to comply with statutory requirements for publication of the OSC.
