Case Number: 22CMCP00128 Hearing Date: January 10, 2023 Dept: A
[TENTATIVE]
ORDER
Petitioner,
The Court originally reviewed the
petition on October 11, 2022, and determined the petition was defective as Petitioner
did not comply with the requirements for publication of the Order to Show
Cause. Code Civ. Proc., § 1277 subd. (a)(2)(A). Nor did Petitioner establish she is exempt from publication requirements
by demonstrating that she is an active participant in the address
confidentiality program pursuant to Gov Code § 6205, as a victim of domestic
violence, stalking, or sexual assault. Code Civ. Proc., § 1277, subd. (b)(2). The Court again continued the hearing on December 6, 2022, for
failure to cure the foregoing defects.
Accordingly, the Court dismisses the petition without
prejudice for failure to comply with all requirements necessary for an order
for change of name. The matter is dismissed.
