[TENTATIVE] ORDER CONTINUING THE HEARING ON PETITION FOR CHANGE OF NAME

Petitioner, Irma Isabel Arredondo, filed this Petition for an Order for Change of Name to Isabel Irma Rodriguez because she prefers her middle name as her first name.  Petitioner is over the age of 18. The court has considered the Criminal History Assessment which reveals no known arrest record.

The court’s file does not reflect that Petitioner has complied with the requirements for publication of the Order to Show Cause. Code Civ. Proc., § 1277. Accordingly, the court continues the hearing to November 17, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. in Department A of the Compton Courthouse. Petitioner is ordered to comply with publication requirements prior to the date of the hearing.
